Today on “She is…” I sit down with Ayse Eldek, an actress, producer, writer, TV host, wife and a mom. We chat about how she navigates between raising three children and a growing career as an artist and a performer.
Ayse Eldek was born and raised in Turkey. She was involved in every school and after school production. After graduation the thirst for more acting brought her in New York in 1997 where she pursued her dream.
Since then she acted in many film, TV, productions including: “David Letterman Show”, “Sex and The City”, “Damages”, “Rescue Me”, voice over and theater productions including “Cellophane” and “O Jerusalem” both directed by Jim Simpson.
Her writing credits include the play “To Love”, “Bald Boy The Musical”, “Oh Boy” which was later remade to a short film that was shown in Cannes 2008 Short Film Corner).
She is the founder of Turkish American Repertory Theater & Entertainment.She is currently co-hosting the show #MomsOnAMission on women2womenTV.Ayse resides in New York with her husband and three children and continues to grow as an artist and to expend her professional career.
